Our first trip was three nights in Norfolk and Suffolk. We spent the first two nights at a basic campsite called Barley Fields in Bingham, near Holt in Norfolk.
139 miles in total.
Total trip expenditure was £170 = £42.42p per day.
This included £88.50p in fuel.

Really pleased that we managed to pack things so that we had no rattles and our first site was a nice flat one where we could fill up with water from stand pipes on the edge of the field, a black waste pit and the option to just discretely drain off the grey waste into the grass.
Two nights on a grass only pitch was £40 so not too bad but need to try and keep the costs down in the future.
Weather was 24’ and sunny. We had sausages for dinner although we couldn’t BBQ as I had the wrong attachment….

Day two we cycled to Blakeney which was about 5 miles and then walked from Cley to Sheringham (where I found the correct connection and jubilee clip for the BBQ) which was quite a bit further than I thought so we caught a bus back to Cley to cycle back to the van.
Followed by successful BBQ 🙂

Left the following day to go to Suffolk and a potential Park up at a church which just wanted a suggested £5 donation to the church for an overnight park.

The car park was a field opposite the St. Jame’s Church in Dunwich about a ten minute walk from the beach.
The weather was a bit cloudy and 18*
We arrived at lunch time and decided to walk to Southwold which was about 12 miles there and back.
We spent a very quiet night without anyone else in the car park and enjoyed a lovely morning by walking down to the beach for a few hours where we had some coffee and cake before starting the journey home.

you need the quick release gas connector for the bbq, and it helps to drill a small hole in the legs to fold them in. If you’re interested I can send photo. Matt

I haven’t had any issues with the normal attachment or closing the legs? Send the pic over and I’ll have a look 😊🙏
