Coniston to Elterwater – just 8.75 miles today, nearly 4 short of what it should have been due to finding accommodation. Stayed at the Eltmere Inn in Elterwater. Lovely spot and great beer š.
Bit of a climb out of Coniston today but through lovely woodland and the weather was dry and warm, just perfect for walking. Would definitely recommend trying to get accommodation in Langdale though as staying in Elterwater made for a short day today and the challenge of a 19 mile day tomorrow with a big climb early on which Sarah definitely isn’t happy aboutš.
