A slightly damp and chilly three day, two night hike and camp in the Brecon Beacons with my brother Ken. Arrived at the Story Arms late on the Friday and made our way up to Corn Du [very windy!!], across to Pen y Fan and then due to the wind dropped down into the valley to find somewhere sheltered to camp by the river. It took a while but in the end we found a great spot for the night.

Day 2 we retraced our steps to go up Crybn and followed the main path up and down to Fan y Big before dropping down into the Valley to enjoy a cup of tea at the cafe by the reservoir. Then back up to find a site for our second night, after wandering around for ages we ended up at the first place we found…

A wet and foggy start to the day we worked our way back to Corn Du and down to the car late morning for the drive home.
